Rachel Zoe Rocks Her Baby Bump. I DIY!

By Lindsey Muth, Contributing Writer

My fave fashionista, the fabulous Ms. Rachel Zoe, announced in November that she and her scarf-loving husband Rodger are happily expecting a lil bundle of joy. Followers of The Rachel Zoe Project everywhere let out a collective, "yippee!" and started holding their breath to see if/when/how the tiny Ms. Zoe would make maternity clothes look chic (or would she wear her husband's sweats like the rest of us? Yeah right). She's making fashion waves already. My fave baby bump ensemble from the past month is this edgy/casual daywear look she wore in December while filming her reality show (though my eyes popped out of my head at the height on those heels!)

Of course we can't all afford the clothes in Ms. Zoe's closet. But fashionable preggers everywhere can rock this trendsetting look for less!

A. Free People Sunday Brunch Dress ($68)
D. Forever 21 Faux Leather Jacket ($38)
E. Sunlight Glass (an Etsy shop) White Iris Pendant ($25)

Finish the look with those oversized shades I know you already have at home and your favorite black bag. You'll turn heads making that midnight run for mint chocolate chip icecream, mama!

Obsession: The Rachel Bellbottom!

By Shasta Moczulski, Fashion & Beauty Director

Skinny jeans have been my go-to for denim for the last two years, but I am BEYOND OBSESSED with these bellbottoms.  Only Rachel Zoe could bring back this trend and convince me that I absolutely must have a pair! Flare leg denim is slowly making its way back onto the fashion scene.  My prediction is that we will see bellbottoms making a huge statement at New York Fashion Week in February 2011.

Available exclusively at PIPERLIME, in limited quantities, so if you want a pair, order quick!

Halloween Glamour!

By Candace Cabrera Moore - Contributing Writer/Fashion Week Correspondent

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, so with that in mind and with Halloween just around the corner, we implore you to dig in your closet and become your favorite reality star for Halloween!

Kardashian Sisters
We love the Kardashians and think Kim, Kourtney or Khloe would be great for Halloween. Start by pulling together two of your closest girlfriends and don long, black wigs, smokey eyes, nude lips, some bronzer, loonnnng lashes, and blush. For Kim, her signature looks is an oversized handbag, leggings, boots, a tank, and a blazer (or, if you’re heading to a snazzier party, wear a body hugging dress!). Don't forget your bottles of QuickTrim!!

Real Housewives of ....
We get great entertainment out of the Real Housewives series and all are equally fabulous. Jill Zarin would be a great housewife to impersonate for Halloween. For Jill, it is all about the hair! Get a great strawberry blond wig with bangs, and add some eye liner and bright lipstick. Jill is often seen running around in cocktail dresses and sky high heels (or you could wear a figure skating outfit!). Bring along a chihuahua (stuffed animal, of course) and call her Ginger!

Rachel Zoe
We love tuning in to The Rachel Zoe Project and getting swept up in her world of couture. It is fabulosity at its best! Start with a wavy blond wig, add powder and a touch of lipstick. Don't even bother doing anything to your eyes, just put on the biggest pair of sunglasses you can find. Put on your highest pair of heels, bell bottom jeans, and then a button down shirt with a faux fur vest, and a long coat to finish it off. The best part about a Rachel Zoe costume is that you really can't over do it- the more, the better, so pile on the necklaces, rings, and bracelets! Make sure you have a big handbag and carry a venti starbucks cup for added effect! You will totally SHUT IT.DOWN.

Putting It All Together

By Candace Cabrera Moore - Contributing Writer/Fashion Week Correspondent

If you've been purchasing the trends, you may find your closet full of more textures, colors, and silhouettes than you know what to do with! Putting together a cohesive look while utilizing some of the latest trends can be difficult, but with clogs, lace, fringe, faux fur and big floppy hats on point right now, a logical look would be 70's Glam. Here is one way to put your trendy finds to good use and create a great look.

Here we used a DVF blouse that featured lace detailing, a big fall trend. We styled that under a faux fur vest, which is a perfect fall outerwear piece. For pants, we used J Brand Lovestory jeans, which have a higher waist and a significant flare leg. The camel Rebecca Minkoff bag has a bit of fringe to help channel your inner boho, and the clogs were a really interesting, almost olive green color which touched on the military trend we've been seeing. We love the black, wide brimmed fedora, paired with oversized sunnies for an added bit of glam, and we finished it off with a House of Harlow tiger's eye pendant and oversized men's gold watch to complete the look.

Fall in Love with momAgenda -- (plus win one!)

No need to use your blackberries as your calendar; we found a chic functional replacement. After we received the momAgenda Desktop Planner (in Rose Pink Faux Crocodile) we immediately became quite obsessed. It is not just a planner; it is a MUST HAVE accessory.

Reasons we CRAVE the planners:

  • Week-at-a-view: The unique format is perfect for moms with littles one running around. The planner features a space for you and up to four children. We love that it features monthly views too.
  • momEssentials: The pamphlet, which is placed in the back on the planner can easily be removed and reused from year to year. No re-writing your contacts each year.
  • The Style: The new crocodile covers, in FAB new colors; Rose Pink and Spring Green are stylish, elegant, and chic. The perfect little accessory for your busy life.
  • Size: Not to big, not to small, just perfect! The 7x9x1 planner is perfect to grab on the go and fits nicely in all bags.

We LOVE the momAgenda Faux Crocodile Desktop ($44) but the momAgenda stain-resistant Desktop planner ($42) is just as stylish. It comes in six vibrant colors with all the FAB features momAgenda is famously known for; the party planning pages, lots of space for jotting notes, favorite website sections, notes for FASHION, books, vacation, movies and more. Don’t forget – personalization is available to make it even more YOU!

Not a momma yet? You can still be an organized fashionista with myAgenda($40) for everyone.

Spotted: Rachel Zoe recently raved about the new faux croc covers - “I love the crocodile momAgenda. I am going to give it to all of my clients who are moms!” Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman "Loves" her momAgenda and Brad Paisley’s wife, Kimberely Williams Paisley couldn’t be happier with the products and calls them “Genuis!” We totally agree!
