LIBYA AND DONALD TRUMP…

GORDON DUFF: SUNDAY MORNING “MAY DAY 2011″

May 1, 2011 posted by Gordon Duff ·

IF ONLY WE HAD THE MORAL CLARITY OF OLD LINE COMMUNISM IN OUR FACE AGAIN….

A LITTLE TALK RADIO
By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER/Senior Editor

Those of us who remember the Cold War, can’t help but reflect on May 1.  Moscow and parades, red flags everywhere, announcements of new superweapons, of 3rd world leaders turning to socialism, the heady days of moral clarity replaced by the lateralism of the 21st century.  On even more reflection, that past we remember gains the stain of the present era, globalists, oil and banking cartels, as alive then as they are now, we just didn’t see it.  Increasingly, history is likely to show that one man, perhaps the most vilified man in history, had foreseen it all.
I’m not going there, this isn’t the day to resurrect the ghost of Adolf Hitler.  Until we do, however, until we deal with it honestly, we will never know how we got where we are today. We have other “fish to fry,” as it were, today.
It’s about truth.  What we get now is mythology, the offal of a long diet of wartime propaganda certified as history and pop culture.  Without truth, there is slavery.  Thus, we move on to Libya and try to play with that evasive and too often esoteric element of perception, “truth.”  Talking about truth isn’t enough.  You have to “do’ truth.  Let’s take a shot at it.

LIBYA
Yesterday, NATO air strikes killed Saif Al Arab, the 29 year old son of Colonel Gaddafi.  Libya, of course, is playing the death to the hilt, milking it for public relations play as best they can.  But, is this wrong?  Let’s take a moment to look at the situation.
Back in February, we recommended quick air strikes against Gaddafi.  Curiously, some purporting to support the rebels opposed US intervention.  All the while, the real rebels were being slaughtered and were screaming for American help.
This early duplicity, bought by Gaddafi and his army of Washington propagandists (mostly Bush insiders and some rented from the Israeli lobby) would set the tone for one of the nastiest disinformation campaigns in history.

Back to reality.

Assessments showed the rebels to be joined by inferior and poorly organized military forces, to have no backing anywhere and to be a genuine reformist political movement as in Tunisia, Egypt and other nations.
“Surgical strikes” on command and control would have pushed the military to the rebels and Gaddafi would have gotten the “deal of the century” to leave.  Egypt and Libya could have formed a loose coalition as had been proposed in the past and a progressive and moderate bloc of democratic regimes could emerge to replace the sheikdoms and dictatorships that have, so profitably for some, helped destabilize the world.
That ship hasn’t entirely sailed already.  Egypt now stands alone in its move to open the Gaza blockade.
If both Gaddafi and the rebels chose to offer support for Egypt in this, it could offer an opening for many things in the region.  This may be a time when something more important than Arabs killing each other should be considered.
Waiting in the wings were two plots.  One was hatched in Switzerland, to force Gaddafi into alienating France and Italy.  The initial move in that plot?  One of Gaddafi’s sons was beaten up and arrested by Swiss authorities in 2008, a “set up.”
Who are the players?  Banks, call them “Rothschild” or call them, more accurately, “the Federal Reserve,” wanted to seize Libya’s cash reserves that were left a bit too vulnerable.  As time has dragged on, that plot is now in full motion and billions are being swindled from the Libyan people.
That should have been stopped and could have been prevented.
The second plot is oil.
The big winners after 2003 were BP and Haliburton.  The ‘Bush/Blair’ camp made and is making billions in Libya.  Not only that, Gaddafi agreed to fund anything else they were doing, as he funded elections in France and Italy.  The rapprochement with Libya was more like something out of The Godfather than international relations.  When Tony Blair went to Gaddafi in 2004, he went as consigliere for the Bush/Cheney/Blair crime families.
He was there to carve out “territories.”  Bush, Cheney and Blair got a big piece of Libya while Gaddafi got, well, the meeting could actually have been out of the movie itself;
Sollozzo (Gaddafi): Bene, Don Corleone. I need a man who has powerful friends. I need a million dollars in cash. I need, Don Corleone, all of those politicians that you carry around in your pocket, like so many nickels and dimes

Conciliegere Tom Hagen looks on..
Don Corleone (Blair): What is the interest for my family?
Sollozzo (Gaddafi): Thirty percent. In the first year your end should be three, four million dollars.(plus oil contracts for BP and weapons contracts for BAE)  And then it would go up.
Don Corleone (Blair): And what is the interest for the Tattalgia(Bush/Cheney) family?
Sollozzo (Gaddafi): [smiles at Tom] My compliments [Conciligiere Tom Hagen gives a formal nod]
Sollozzo (Gaddafi): I’ll take care of the Tattaglias (Bush/Cheney), out of my share.
Don Corleone (Blair): So, I am to receive thirty percent for finance, for legal protection and political influence. Is that what you’re telling me?
Sollozzo (Gaddafi): That’s right.
As the situation has “matured” into a full scale tribal/civil war, with forces from a dozen countries or more “not so covertly” taking part, that second cabal, the “oil thieves” are already carving up Libya and its oil and gas reserves.  This also could have been prevented.
How do we know this?

The United Nations Security Council authorized use of force in Libya to protect civilian lives.  No mention was made of “regime change” or assassination yet, from this March 21, 2011 headline from the Daily Mail:
There had been no value judgements in the United Nations debate on intervention, no decisions as to the validity of the Gaddafi government but rather an authorization of a limited response based on humanitarian issues only.  This was how things began.  As time went on, the rats awakened.
In fact, whenever things seem to move well for the rebels or Gaddafi, either one, there is more than minor evidence that the application of force by NATO was ramped up or withdrawn to “play” the conflict for a broad international audience.
Additionally, wild rumors about Al Qaeda or CIA involvement with rebel forces was played much the same way, filling the press one day and denied as “wingnut conspiracy theory” the next, sometimes by the same sources.
Settle it!  Cease fire!  Gaddafi isn’t leaving, get used to it, certainly not leaving “with his tail between his legs.”
Gaddafi isn’t Mubarak.

DONALD TRUMP AND VIETNAM, “IT AIN’T JUST DONALD”

Last week, Donald Trump was caught in a lie involving his lack of military service.  He told reporters he had a “high draft number” and missed service in Vietnam because of that.  He thought that story would fly.  Veterans Today picked up the story on March 31.

Trump had been approached by The Veterans Revolution, a highly reputable and respected group in Los Angeles that works without funding to support the needs of homeless veterans.  When they asked Trump for help, his handlers gave them a major smackdown.

They very carefully explained that Donald Trump was not interested in working with veterans.
We also knew there was a dark and nasty secret behind “the Donald’s” lack of military service during the Vietnam War.

10 million American served in the military during the war, almost 3 million in Vietnam.
75% of those who served in Vietnam were volunteers.  I was one of them, serving as a Marine infantryman in I Corps.  Like over 2 million others that served in Vietnam, like over 7 million that served in America’s military during the war, I volunteered.

That is simply what most Americans did at that time.  It was considered our duty as Americans.
What we learned is that, for 5 years, Donald Trump received deferment after deferment, first college, then graduate school and finally, after being found healthy and fit for years, when his student deferments ran out, he suddenly became “unfit” for service.
But, it wasn’t just Donald Trump.  Music by CCR with John Fogerty, sit down for a minute and look for some of America’s self proclaimed national heroes:

*Currently, nearly half the people featured on this video are facing indictment outside the United States for Crimes Against Humanity
This is just too convenient.

At that time, reserve units and National Guard did not routinely serve on active duty and very very seldom in Vietnam.
Those with resources who choose to avoid military service but not leave the country typically, if they had either “luck” or, more likely political connections, were put in National Guard units.
Congress is filled with such people, those who back war but ducked service are called Chickenhawks.

NOW STARRING DONALD TRUMP
Trump was caught in a lie but Trump, at least, took the question.  Did anyone ever ask President Bush, “How did you get into the National Guard when there were no openings?”  Try following that up with questions about going AWOL or failed drug tests and you will be faced with a stonewall of classified documents, things that are public record for every other citizen.  Criminal records?  Yes, those too!
Rather than belaboring the persecution of Donald “the Chump” Trump, the kind of screw-up that President Obama must have been praying for, we can make our minor point, and close for the morning:
The question isn’t whether Donald Trump had his medical records falsified so he could avoid military service.
The point is that Donald Trump believed that claiming to have a “high draft number” was an excuse for not serving his country.  (Notwithstanding the fact that there were no “draft numbers” given out until Donald Trump had already avoided services for over 5 years
Those who volunteered and those who accepted the draft are dishonored by, not only Trump but the entire gang as well.
Singling out Trump isn’t fair.  Nobody has forgiven any of them, and it goes much further than Trump and it never stopped as 10 years of “invisible war” and “throwaway veterans” teaches us every day.
…and so it goes…

Slander vs. Sanity

The weblog of Ken O'Keefe

The last week and a half has been increasingly entertaining, albeit in a seriously dangerous way.  First I had the head of an Irish charity send me a message threatening to expose me as a fraudster and extortionist.  My plan, apparently, involved producing a video of a poor and suffering child in Gaza (Areej) and soliciting funds to be given not to me, but to the Irish charity.  Then I would extort the money from the family by use of a Palestinian collaborator (a Facebook “friend”), but of course, only after the charity gave them the money I had raised with the video.  They never really explained why I had the money sent to their charity in the first place.

I responded to the threat by posting her accusations on Facebook and soliciting facts about how much money was sent to the charity.  I then visited the family to hear their side of the story.
Revisiting Areej & family in order to get to the bottom of what I am being accused of.
A few days later I received the following email through a close friend and Chief Legal Advisor to Aloha Palestine CIC, the non-profit social enterprise I set up in 2008 to conduct trade with Palestine.

Greetings,
I am wondering of you are still acting for Ken O’Keefe – you are still on his Aloha (Palestine) Website. I wish to sue him from here to eternity and want to be sure where to send the letters.
Kind regards,
Felicity Arbuthnot.

I responded on April 26th with the following.
Aloha Felicity,
First off let me thank you and all the others who are a continuous source of motivation, I simply could not have done all that I am doing without you.
FYI; Daniel Machover is a dear friend and has been invaluable for Aloha Palestine’s mission, but he will be of no use to you with regard to any legal matters directed at me.  He is not my personal legal counsel.
I have been living in Gaza for 5 months now and I can receive mail at our Samouni Project address;
Samouni Project
Al-xxxxxx Street
Gaza City
Gaza Strip
Palestinian Authorities
DHL is just about the only way for delivery, I should have the papers in less than a week if you can get them in the mail right away.  Wish that there were a quicker way, but I will just have to wait unless you would be so kind as to send me an email copy as well.  That would be lovely, can’t wait to hear from you, please do keep up the good work.
TJP,
Ken O’Keefe

I am awaiting Felicitiy’s response.

Now Felicity is one of the many figures in and around the Human Shield Action to Iraq that I created in late 2002.  She is also one of the “seasoned activist” nut cases whose mission in life is to convince the world that the devil incarnate is alive, and his name is Ken O’Keefe.
Joining the circus yesterday was another Facebook “friend”, one who had supposedly put me in her will as the beneficiary of her land in Texas.  In a shocking turnaround, over the course of less than 24 hours, she realised that my upcoming trade mission to Gaza was merely a ploy to exploit the suffering of the Palestinians in order for me to make “millions”.  She provided no evidence of this, but also decided to name my wife several times and stated that I was committing adultery here in Gaza; all this just 4 days after my wife gave birth in London… without me.

In the case of accusing me of having sex with women in Gaza, this accusation puts me, and the woman I know here at serious risk.  The accusation of a married, non-Muslim man, committing adultery with Palestinian women is reckless endangerment at best, a willful intent to do harm at worst.
Should I be compelled to dignify these charges with a response?  I think not.  But for the sake of everyone’s safety, I categorically condemn such charges as criminal and 100% false.

UPDATE – I have just been given messages sent to two other Facebook friends in which the following was said;
OMG!!!!! I had that go through my mind to!! Because, ken has taken money from everyone! In the thousands! Wonder how much he got from Vik (Vittorio Arrigoni)!!! There is this other guy that is going with ken and I know he is going to die while he is there. He put $45,000 dollars into ken just a few days ago. And he will be along side Ken. I think it will be easier for Ken to kill him than be obligated to him for the money or even pay him back some of the money. Ken is suppose to make millions on the gig and the guy who put in $45,000 is promised that he will get a little something back. But, I don’t this this (sic) guy will make it back alive. – Jo Ann Wescott
Jo Ann Wescott’s profile picture complete with my TJP logo.

Two of these cases involve Facebook hero worshippers becoming highly injurious to my interests, with the latter case becoming as hateful as a jilted lover… despite me never having never met her personally.
So what does all this mean?  Well I guess from the point of view of those who are not me, and thus do not know the truth as only God and myself can know it, questions will arise, doubts will form.  And that’s really the point now isn’t it?

The other point of slander is to divert attention from more useful matters, such as setting up the Samouni family classroom and community centre, or from challenging the Israeli blockade of Gaza on every level.
It goes without saying that the real winners in a slander campaign like this is the enemies of Palestine.  When you say and do the things I do, there is simply no way to secure the favour of everyone, to the contrary, the Zionist and American imperialists and their minions will come after you.

I accept this, I really do, I have never been one for popularity contests and I have always chosen quality over quantity.  Idiot allies are liabilities more than friends; I count myself lucky to shed them.  I also realize that my path is inherently dangerous, with the ever-present possibility of torture, kidnapping, imprisonment and death by murder.  So slander is, quite frankly, a rather mild and amusing tactic of my enemies.  But there can be no ignoring the fact that the frequency of these attacks, and I am sure moving forward, the intensity of the attacks, will run parallel to my increasing ability to get good and meaningful things done for the cause of justice.

In my chosen path success is inherently proportionate to risk, so over the coming weeks I volunteer myself as a sort of human bait, my mission, to lure the nut cases, to expose the nature of subversion through slander.  Together we shall take a course in how it works and who is behind it.

Lesson number one, the actual agents who direct slander campaigns, those working for MI6, CIA, Mossad and other so-called “intelligence” agencies, they and their tactics are rendered useless without the presence of the most important element for successful subversion, and that would be… the idiots.

Make no mistake, the idiot is the key to subversion, and we as a movement have a ready supply.  Indeed they are pervasive throughout our so-called “movement”. Without the idiots, or as I choose to refer to them, the clowns who comprise the circus, the agents of tyranny would easily be exposed and their tactics rendered utterly useless.  This being one massive step in the right direction.

Thankfully, more and more of us are capable of using our brain and thus we aware of the tried and true tactics of divide and rule; in other words, more and more of us are not idiots.  This is promising, gives me increased confidence that we as a people are about to behold a great irony, that we are indeed our own gatekeepers, holding the keys to the prison to which we have constructed for ourselves, haplessly awaiting liberation at the behest of some illusory saviour.

It has been said, “Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.”  Ain’t that the truth.  You gotta laugh really, if you fail to maintain a sense of humour, end up taking all this madness to seriously, you will indeed become a participant in the collective state of insanity that defines human kind for many millennia.  We are indeed nuts; clowns in our own mad circus.

As amusing as it all is, and it is amusing, I am wanting for something more, something sane, something just, something human.  And then I look to the younger ones and I smile.  I look to them and I see those who are leading the Arab revolutions.  I look to them and see the coming Global revolution.  Whereas I was part of Generation X, I see them as Generation TJP.  The next generation is bringing Truth Justice & Peace and I can see it all too clearly.  They are the younger ones, and they just aren’t buying the bullshit.

I do not intend to be one of the old farts feeling nostalgic about yesterday’s world; yesterday’s world is bullshit.  The “War on Terror”, “austerity measures”, presidential and prime ministerial puppets, economic slavery and the prostitution of journalism, all of it, bullshit.

Instead I intend to collaborate with the younger ones, the ones of wisdom and integrity, people who are breaking free of the chains of indoctrination and ignorance, who can see the forest through the trees and who know a brother when they see one.

As long as I am on Facebook I accept that the nutters and the false allies will stalk me, but as long as I continue to enjoy the benefits of working with people of conscience in the creation of a better world, it is worth it.

Through me, let us look at the clowns as entertainment, and try not to get to distracted.
Stay tuned for the executive summary of my “millionaire” making trade convoy, to be announced in the next 24 hours.

VIDEO : No-Fly Zone over Gaza — Petition

I don't think U .N. Security Council, who established a Yes Siege Zone on Gaza may Establish a “No Fly Zone” over Gaza. Why not establish a FREE SAIL ZONE.

I can't forget the No Fly Zon on Iraq , the stupidity of calling Nato to impose a No Fly zone on Libya.

In case it happened, I am afraid it will be nothing more an umbrailla for target killings, legalizing the siege, and at the end turing Gaza into a NO RESISTANCE ZONE.

To:  U.N. General Secretary and U.N. Security Council

Petition to the United Nations Secretary General and Members of the U.N. Security Council to Establish a “No Fly Zone” over Gaza under the Principle and Norm of the “Responsibility to Protect”
To Be Presented to the Honorable U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and the Honorable Ambassadors of the U.N. Security Council.
“The United Nations, whose membership comprises almost all the states in the world, is founded on the principle of the equal worth of every human being.”
–Kofi Annan, Former Secretary General of the United Nations

No issue in modern history has endured more words, more speeches, more conferences, more peace initiatives, more promises, and more photo-ops, than Israel’s 44 year illegal occupation of over 3 million Palestinians.

World Governments and International Bodies have failed to bring an end to this occupation and establish a free, independent Palestinian State for refugees in their own land.
Thus it is up to us, you and me, people from around the world to stand up and demand an end to this illegal occupation that has thus far paralyzed and humiliated the world, our humanity, and what we all believe in, justice for all.
Signing is the simplest activism for justice for the Palestinians. Let your name and signature be the weapon for peace and justice for the Palestinians and peace and security for the Israeli people. A free Palestine means a secure Israel.
Thank you.
Please sign this Petition now, tomorrow may be too late for someone:

Gaza security arrests spies working for Israeli intelligence

[ 27/04/2011 - 11:58 AM ]

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Palestinian interior security apparatus said it arrested a number of informers who provide the Israeli intelligence with information about the resistance in Gaza, warning at the same time of considering everyone arrested or summoned a spy.

Senior security official Mohamed Lafi told Palestine newspaper that the interior security apparatus arrested recently a number of collaborators with the Israeli intelligence.

Lafi noted that anyone arrested or summoned by the interior security apparatus in Gaza is not necessarily a spy or agent because there are many security issues addressed by the apparatus other than espionage.

He affirmed that the Israeli intelligence redirected its agents in Gaza after the interior security disclosed techniques and devises used by them in a conference held by the interior ministry.

Vera Macht: Vik, You Are missed

Sunday, April 24, 2011 at 9:08AM Gilad Atzmon

You are missed with such an intensity that makes you even more present. In all of our minds, in all of our hearts. It's your absence that makes your strength, your kindness and your impressive dedication to people and to humanity so incredibly present.

You are missed as a symbol of the struggle for justice, and for the value of each individual, the value of especially those people who seem to have been forgotten.

You are missed in this world. Vik, I miss you in my world. I miss you as my best friend, as the one who was always there in the last year, in good and bad times. You once told me I should smile, because my smile would light you. But Vik, it was you who made me laugh. Not only by your great sense of humor, but through your unique way to make the world around you a little brighter, just by being there. Everybody who knew you knows that, even those who met you even just once.

You cast a spell on people, through your charisma, through your personality, through your warmth. The world has become a bit darker without you, and it is also my own little world that has become a bit darker through your absence.

And Gaza of course, which I can’t imagine without you, probably no one here can imagine it without you yet. Your Arabic vocabulary of: Mushkile? Leeesh? Mish Mushkile! Yallah! was completely enough to brighten up the people around you, and to make everyone in Gaza your rafiq and your rafiqa.

And people in Gaza have loved you and appreciated you, you knew that and you would never have thought anything else. We were all touched and overwhelmed by the grief and sympathy your death has caused. A compassion that has helped all of us to overcome our initial shock, I want to heartily thank you all for that.
Adie, my friend and ISM colleague once said, being as ISM in Gaza doesn’t only mean to support the people here, but to be a bit of a Palestinian yourself, and to join carrying the burden for a little way. To not only feel with the pain of others, but to feel for yourself what it means to lose a loved one. Because being Palestinian means losing people you love.

Whoever is behind this senseless, cruel murder, he reached exactly the opposite of what he intended. Vik, through your death, we all have become Palestinians. We are more determined than ever. We will go on, and we will continue to fight, in the spirit of your humanity and with the strength and steadfastness of the Palestinians.

Not only because you would have wanted us to, but because we couldn’t do anything else. Not the people out there that you have inspired and woken up, and not us here, being united in the same dream, in the same goal for which we fight: a free Gaza, a free Palestine.

I remember one morning in autumn. The day before had been a black day for Gaza, and so we were all together the whole night, sitting in the ISM office and writing. Vik and I left at dawn. And just as we had walked a few steps, it started to rain. The first rain of the year. And we stood in the middle of the road, feeling the rain pouring down upon us, and laughed, and suddenly it was as if the whole sadness of the last hours was washed away. As if it was a new beginning, in which the world was pure and innocent and full of hope.

I will not grieve because I know that where you went, there was such a morning waiting for you. I will not grieve, in gratitude of having gotten to know you. Because people like you show us that also for our humanity there could be such a morning waiting for us."

Palestinian security arrest a number of suspected collaborators

[ 22/04/2011 - 11:17 AM ]

RAFAH, (PIC)-- Palestinian internal security sources in the Rafah district revealed that a number of suspected collaborators with the Israeli occupation were arrested over the past few days.

The sources added in a statement that was conveyed by the Hamas information office in Rafah on Thursday said that the internal security intensified their pursuit of possible collaborators after the assassination of Qassam commanders Tayseer Abu Selmeyyah and Muhammad Awajah.

The sources said that the actions resulted in the arrest of a number of suspected collaborators without revealing whether those arrested were involved in the assassinations or not.

A security official said that his department will keep on pursuing collaborators and bringing them to justice.

He added that awareness within Palestinian society has foiled dozens of attempts by the Shabak to recruit collaborators.

He praised the diligent work of the security officers as well as the public for their cooperation with the security officers in their pursuit of collaborators.

‘Israel acting like mad dog cornered’

Posted: April 22, 2011 by crescentandcross
No mercy on the civilian population of Gaza where entire families have been annihilated by Israeli bombardments on civilian homes.
As Israel tries to cripple the Goldstone report in an attempt to avoid war crime accountability, air attacks on the Gaza Strip have increased dramatically.
Ken O’Keefe, a human rights activist in Gaza, talks with Press TV about the possibility of Palestine receiving assistance from its Arab and Muslim neighbors. Ken also weighs in on the US and Israeli agenda to have the Goldstone Report ‘disappear’ and expresses his views regarding the humanity of the Palestinian people while living under occupation.

Press TV: We know that military attacks by Israel against Gazans have been on the increase and Hamas has said that it is now waiting to see what the Arab regimes are going to do in reaction to the situation that is taking place, as more and more attacks take place on the innocent Palestinian people. How likely is that to happen? We saw in the Israeli onslaught on Gaza (2009) that the Arab regimes basically met the situation with silence. Do you think it’s going to be different this time around?

Ken O’Keefe: It’s a dangerous tactic to take. I have not put a lot of stock in Egypt coming to the rescue; they’ve got their own battles going on internally. And there are still $1.3 billion in bribes being given to the Egyptian military.

We cannot ignore the root of the problem. Whatever Hamas is doing right now — whoever is firing the rockets — this is not the problem; that is a result of the problem. The problem is that we are 40 year plus into this blockade collective punishment policy of which Egypt was collaborating and which still hasn’t completely ended it.

Effectively, when you do that to people, they are going to bite back in the only way they can and in this case it’s the rockets.

I don’t agree with anyone who thinks that the Arab governments at this stage are going to come to the rescue of the Palestinians. I would say, to the contrary, that they are going to be sorely disappointed if they’re waiting for them right now.

Press TV: There would be some that would say basically it’s what came first, the chicken or the egg – who’s attacking whom – How would you answer that?

Ken O’Keefe: To me, there has been a tremendous amount of effort trying to confuse people on this issue; but it’s really quite simple. The beginning of the problem was the dispossession of the land from its people. And from then, it has spiraled and escalated in which the Palestinians have affectively been dealing with an occupier and invader who did not come with goodwill or neighborly respect; who has come and violated the Palestinian people from previous to 1948.

If you do that to any people….If the situation were changed, and it was an invading occupying entity that invaded Sweden, the Swedish people would fight back. If it was done to the American people, there would be blood spilling in the streets — Americans killing Americans in the most brutal ways if those Americans were collaborating with the invader and occupier. So it is obvious to those of us who have paid any attention.

It’s not as if no wrongs have been done on the Palestinian side – there are. However, the victim is not to be blamed for the circumstances to which he is resisting. If I was born and raised in Palestine — if I witnessed family members being murdered on a regular basis — I have no doubt whatsoever that I would be involved in resisting. Only because I’ve come from America am I not engaged in violent resistance. Ultimately though, resistance for the sake of resistance is not the answer – resistance must be for the sake of justice.

Press TV: Today, Susan Rice, US envoy to the UN, said that she wanted a war crimes report in the 2008-2009 Gaza offensive to disappear. In light of everything that’s taking place right now in Gaza, how do you find these comments in general?

Ken O’Keefe: I’ve long since reached the point where any US official of any stature is just not even worth listening to. If anyone takes these people seriously as if they have any agenda other than to serve tyranny then they are living in la la land.

This Susan Rice is a traitor as far as I’m concerned. They all are – Barack Obama and all of the top level Senators. To even deny that a massive war crime was committed in Zeitoon where friends of mine, the Sulooni family lives, is beyond debate – a massive war crime was committed there. We could talk about the Araja family that had a white phosphorus bomb explode into their home; six family members killed – one of them, a baby, was burnt to a crisp instantly. That is a massive war crime.

To even entertain the idea, that because Goldstone is threatened or bribed or simply doesn’t have the backbone to stand by his words – to entertain the idea that Susan Rice has any legitimacy — is ridiculous. She has none, absolutely none.

Ultimately, I don’t blame governments anymore; I blame us as people that we allow this type of thing to continue. We are allowing the Susan Rices and the Barak Obamas and the Tony Blairs and the David Camerons and all of these jokers to actually say this stuff as if there’s any truth to it. It’s really quite disgusting and it says a lot about us that we even tolerate it.

You’re saying that the people are allowing it, but for example, the family that you talked about saying that their baby was burnt to a crisp – the average American person when they turn on their TV are not seeing these images. Can you understand that a lot of them really don’t have any idea of what is actually taking place in Gaza?

Yes I know this very well because I was a brainwashed indoctrinated American, as well, and I used to say the pledge of allegiance, which ends with ‘liberty and justice for all’. You say that sort of stuff every day and it becomes true even though it has nothing to do with reality.

So I do understand and appreciate the fact that American people are generally good people; however, if you were taken to court for an alleged crime and you said in court that you didn’t know it was a crime, that would be no defense.

And from the American people not knowing that their government is using their tax dollars to commit mass murder — to commit crimes against humanity, to use depleted uranium, cluster bombs and other things — to kill people in extrajudicial assassination and then to claim well I didn’t know, is no defense.

You are guilty. You are paying for the mass murder whether you like it or not and it doesn’t matter whether you didn’t vote for that person or this person; it doesn’t matter.

Before I forget, there is a no fly zone over Libya. Why don’t we have a no fly zone over Palestine? Why not? Because our world is inherently corrupt ad because those that are in charge have no respect, at all, for human life on any level. There must be a no fly zone over Palestine now. All the jets and helicopter gunships flying over Palestine right now should be shot out of the sky. That is where the world should go and I’m sure we can make it so if we really decide to do something.

Press TV: How likely is it that Israel will once again invade Gaza in a full-fledged war? At the start of these Middle East revolutions and uprisings, political experts were warning to keep your eyes on what Israel is doing because as the international community’s attention is looking at these other ME countries, that it is likely that events will take place in Israel.

Ken O’Keefe: We have known about the ‘Samson’ option for some time now. For those not familiar – Israel has made it clear on more than one occasion that it is willing to use the Samson option i.e. to use its nuclear weapons; to target places in Europe and other parts of the world – this has always been a potential threat from Israel.

That must be our motivation to confront Israel because no nation — whether it is Israel or the US or any other nation — can be allowed to try and intimidate the rest of us by fear of them using their weapons.

Israel is like a mad dog being driven into a corner because it is losing. The Zionist project has peaked just like the American empire and it is heading down fast; there is no question of it. All the lies that it was getting away with for decades — incredible lies, perpetuating the notion that it was the victim and the Palestinians were the criminal…That day is now over.

All of these lies that they have lived off for decades are now coming tumbling down and the world is seeing the truth and realizing that they have been duped and that in fact the Palestinian people are the most remarkable people because despite having been through hell for decades and having been abandoned by everyone, including their Arab and Muslim brothers and sisters, they have not lost their humanity; they remain one of the most hospitable and beautiful people that you would ever want to meet. And they will not become the monster that is attacking them.

What is Israel going to do? It is impossible to predict, they could do anything. I do know that they have an incentive to try and create a conflict right now because we have the next freedom flotilla coming and they’re scared to death of that, and there are other things happening also, which aren’t good for Israel such as the possibility for real representative democracy in the Arab world.

This is a nightmare for Israel, so like a mad dog driven into a corner, it’s impossible to predict exactly what it’s going to do; but it will fight back in some way. Options might include exacting war on Gaza again or the Samson option of nuclear detonation in Europe or another part of the world. It’s time to deal with this mad dog and deal with it right now.

Interior ministry: Two killers of Arrigoni die in a house raid

[ 20/04/2011 - 08:39 AM ]

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Palestinian ministry of interior said the police attack on Tuesday on the whereabouts of the three men accused of killing an Italian activist was an important lesson for everyone tempted to tamper with the security and stability in Gaza.

In a news conference yesterday, spokesman for the ministry Ihab Al-Ghussein explained that a force of policemen in Annuseirat refugee camp found and encircled on Tuesday afternoon the hideout of the three fugitives wanted for murdering Vittorio Arrigoni.

Spokesman Ghussein affirmed the policemen acted wisely and responsibly and demanded the suspects to surrender themselves and show no resistance, but they refused to comply and started to open fire at the police force wounding three of its members.

Despite what happened the police force showed restraint and brought mediators to the scene including families of the fugitives in order to convince them to surrender and avoid bloodshed, but they, especially Abdulrahman Al-Berizat declined all mediatory efforts and insisted on dying instead of turning themselves in, the spokesman elaborated.

He noted that Berizat fired one shot beside one of the fugitives' father, but he did not hurt him.

After the failure of all mediations that lasted over six hours, the police force moved to control the house in an attempt to arrest the suspects and as two policemen climbed on the roof, Berizat spotted them and threw a grenade causing them to sustain moderate injuries.

He also threw another grenade in the second floor killing one of his accomplices, Bilal Al-Omari and wounding Mahmoud Al-Salfiti before shooting himself dead, the spokesman added.

A reporter for the Palestinian information center (PIC) had said earlier that the Palestinian security leadership issued orders to policemen to necessarily arrest the wanted men alive so as to interrogate them and find out more about the crime and its motives.

At an early hour last Friday, the police found Arrigoni dead in an abandoned house north of Gaza just hours after he was kidnapped by a group declared itself as Salafi.

Lifeline for Gaza: Berizat did not enter Gaza through our convoys

[ 19/04/2011 - 08:26 AM ]

AMMAN, (PIC)-- The Jordanian committee of "Lifeline for Gaza" aid convoys denied that Abdulrahman Al-Berizat who is accused of killing Italian Vittorio Arrigoni had entered the Gaza Strip through one of its convoys.
Quds Press quoted head of the committee Wa'el Al-Saka as saying that there was no one by that name on any lists of the Lifeline convoys that crossed into Gaza for humanitarian purposes.
Lifeline for Gaza committee is getting prepared to participate in Freedom Flotilla 2 slated to sail for Gaza next month.
Lawyer of the Islamic organizations in Jordan Mussa Al-Abdalat told Quds Press that Berizat, hailing from the Jordanian city of Madaba, was a member of the Lifeline aid convoy which joined the first Freedom Flotilla that was attacked by the Israeli navy last year.
Abdalat said the accused, according to his acquaintances, stayed in Gaza working as a driver for a charity, affirming that Berizat was not known as a supporter of the Salafi trend.
The Palestinian police in Gaza had revealed that one of the men accused of killing Arrigoni was a Jordanian national and published his photo along with the other accomplices.

Gaza bids farewell to slain Arrigoni – video

April 19, 2011 by occupiedpalestine

Hundreds of Vittorio Arrigoni’s friends and supporters escorted his coffin in a final farewell to the 36 year-old peace activist at a ceremony in Rafah.

He is the first foreigner to have been kidnapped and killed in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas, which rules the Palestinian territory, blamed a Salafi group for his murder. It has released the names and pictures of three suspects its searching for.

But as Nicole Johnston reports from Rafah, there are still plenty of unanswered questions – including why Arrogoni was killed hours before the kidnappers’ 30-hour deadline had passed?

Arabi fully prepared to allow aid into Gaza

[ 18/04/2011 - 01:54 PM ]

CAIRO, (PIC)-- Egyptian FM Nabil al-Arabi has confirmed during a visit by the Egyptian-international coalition to end the Gaza siege that Egypt is fully prepared to help bring humanitarian aid and construction supplies into the Gaza Strip, said Manha Bakhoum spokeswoman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

The FM had made an apparent political agreement to get the goods in through the Rafah border crossing after the issue is brought to the President of the Egyptian government in order to take necessary and appropriate measures.

Separately, Egyptian diplomats have denied reports that arrangements were being made to ensure a visit by Foreign Minister Arabi to the Gaza Strip soon.

They said there are no arrangements for such a visit at the present time.

The statements came after rumors spread in both Palestinian and Egyptian media that Arabi was geared to go to Gaza to support Palestinian reconciliation efforts undertaken by Cairo and to give Gaza support against potential Israeli aggression.

Again: armed and non-violent resistance!!!

Adib S. Kawar

Through out the history of the Arab Zionism struggle, it was proved that the Zionist movement was and is still adamant to uproot every Palestinian and some other Arabs and replace them with Zionist colonizers in their homes and land. This is the ultimate Zionist goal.

The moment the Zionist entity occupied in 1967 the mere 22%, which was left of Palestine (The West Bank and the Gaza Strip) after the so-called war of independence of 1948, it started colonizing the left over of Palestine.

We all know that non-violent resistance started only during the what is known as the first INTIFADAH, while armed resistance, which some people call violent resistance (Zionists and Americans and some others call it terrorism) and we are sure that Dr. Hannan Ashrawi, who calls for non-violent resistance, is fortunate enough to be still living even in occupied Palestine; so we don't have to teach the teacher of what is going on there.

The Apartheid wall, which is called by the Zionist entity leaders, the separation wall, is only temporary in the sense that those Palestinians who are not yet in the diaspora will be walled in ghettos to make life impossible for them to finally decide to quit their land and homes, or what Zionists call "voluntary transfer". Then and only then the apartheid wall will be dismantled. If we want to give up Palestine on a gold platter to Zionist occupation, those Arabs who are still in Palestine should be ordered to "behave well", and be satisfied with resisting Zionist occupation with their greatest and most sophisticated weapon proposed by pacifists, stone throwing, then they will be thrown out of their homes again sooner then expected!!!

Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated by Zionist extremists, even though he ordered his soldiers to break the limbs of teen age stone throwers, if they escape being killed by fire arms, just because those extremists thought he was willing to compromise with Arabs and let some of them stay in their homes.

In 1982 the Zionist entity occupied about half of Lebanon, massacring in the process more that twenty thousand Lebanese, Palestinians and Syrians, and committed the Sabra and Shatila massacre plus others, but when few of their soldiers and officers were hunted by the Lebanese resistance fire, they went around in the streets of Beirut with their loud speakers  pleading to the resistance not to target Zionist occupation men, promising to withdraw from Beirut within two days, which they did.
Twenty two years later the Zionist occupation army was forced by the relentless Lebanese resistance to withdraw from South Lebanon, or what they called "The Security Belt". For sure the occupation army with its puppet "South Lebanon Army" was at least one hundred times stronger in numbers and armament than the Lebanese resistance, but they had to evacuate without use of negotiations with their tails between the hind legs, why? Because they could not bear with the casualties they suffered. The Zionist occupation forces withdrew without notifying their SLA collaborators whom they left behind to face their fate.

During WWII the French resistance, which was equally weaker in armament, like the Lebanese resistance, inflicted heavy losses on the notorious German Nazi occupation army with it French collaborators, and its assistance was of great value for the allied forces that liberated France and then the rest of Europe.

The Vietnamese and Algerian resistance, the first was able to defeat the French occupation army, and later the mightiest army in the history of the world, the American army, which had to withdraw after very heavy casualties (also not as a result of negotiations!!!). As for Algerian resistance, which even though lost about a million martyrs, but due to inflicting heavy losses on the strong French army and the equally brutal settlers (colonialist) like Zionist colonialists, the Algerians were able to liberate what French colonialists considered as an integral part of Main land France.

Again the American coalition armies in Iraq were not received with rice and flowers, which they expected the Iraqis would shower them with, instead they were showered with all sort of armament, although not as sophisticated as what the occupiers possess. The occupation army had already declared the "liberation" of Falloujah and other Iraqi cities several times, but what!... The Americans invaded Iraq claiming that they came to liberate it but what... At what price is this liberation costing both the occupier and the occupied... up till now more than a hundred thousand Iraqi martyrs fell in about a year and a half after the invasion, this in addition to the casualties they left behind after their 1991 invasion, and the hundreds of thousands of deformed newly born babies as the result of the uranium depleted ammunitions the Americans bombarded the Iraqis with, plus the half million indirect infant casualties due to malnutrition, which was a result of economic sanctions imposed on Iraq. Iraqi armed resistance against the mightiest army in the world is paying off, and Americans are already biting their nails.

Just for a reminder, Zionist leaders are not trying to hide their role in driving the United States of America to invade Iraq, because they thought it was the biggest threat to their security. Then what type of resistance Iraqis should face the occupation armies with, civil resistance or armed resistance? If they chose the second alternative they will be permanently occupied by "their liberators"!!!

Lets return to Palestine, and the Gaza strip, and remember what Sharon said about the Zionist colonies he planted in it, which he considered to be as dear to him as Tel Aviv itself, Sharon who drove his colonizers to build colonies on every hill, this same Sharon is withdrawing, under the threat of the Palestinian armed resistance, of course not willingly, from the Gaza Strip unilaterally. Of course he intends to make of this withdrawal a smoke screen to get almost full hold of the West Bank, but with armed resistance it will finally be liberated, and his strongest and mightiest army in the region and one of the few strongest armies in the world, shall also withdraw.

Unless the ZioAmerican plan to control all the Arab land from the gulf to the ocean is met with armed resistance than we are finished once and for ever.

Some Palestinians want to apply Gandhi's non-violent resistance, but I believe that they are trying to fool themselves, if they pretend not to see the difference between Palestinians facing Zionist occupation and aggression and its type of colonialism, and the British colonialist rule of India. The British occupation army counted about 70,000 men, and their armament compared to the Israeli Occupation Army is too primitive. India's population at the time was 300,000,000 people, while at the moment there are in Palestine more Zionists than Palestinian Arabs both living in an area of about 27,000 sq. kms, compared with the vast area of the Indian subcontinent. But the most important difference is that the British type of colonialism, which was the traditional type of exploiting the land and its cheep labor, while Zionist colonialism is the type that aims at, as we mentioned above, uprooting every Palestinian from his land, and replace him with a Zionist colonizers: so the only way to stay in our land is to:

Keep the armed INTIFADAH alive.
