On October 29, 2004, the Arab television network, Al Jazeera, broadcasted excerpts from a videotape of Osama bin Laden speaking in Arabic and addressing Americans, in which he accepted responsibility for the September 11, 2001 attacks, condemned the Bush government’s response to the attacks and also admitted the attacks were a part of a campaign of revenge and deterrence motivated by his witnessing of the destruction in the Lebanese Civil War in 1982.
“While I was looking at these destroyed towers in Lebanon, it sparked in my mind that the tyrant should be punished with the same and that we should destroy towers in America, so that it tastes what we taste and would be deterred from killing our children and women.”
Khalid Sheikh Mohammad involvement in the terror upon America, “By his own account…stemmed from his violent disagreement with U.S. foreign policy favoring Israel.” [1]
Abdulmutallab’s attempt to blow up a plane on Christmas Day in 2009, was fueled by “his sympathies toward the Palestinians and anger over Israel’s actions in Gaza.” [Ibid]
A few days after THAT DAY, President Bush went on TV and told we the people to “GO SHOP” if we wanted to HELP and that “They hated us because we were free!”
I did NOT want to shop and I did NOT react with FEAR to THAT DAY, but intense curiosity. I wondered if ‘THEY’ hated us so much to target and murder innocent people had something to do with Americans mindless over consumption of the world’s resources and apathy towards the poor, oppressed and occupied.
Up until THAT DAY we call 9/11, I was a typical self-satisfied, self-centered, uninformed, misinformed comfortably numb American. THAT DAY changed everything and even though I did not know any of the innocent who were terrorized nor their families or friends, I felt a visceral connection and reacted by researching so as to learn WHY some people in the world hated US so much that they could target and murder innocent ones. I learned PLENTY!

In December 2001, FOX News began a four part series -that has since been removed from their website- regarding Israel’s spying on America.
In Part One, host Brit Hume stated:
“It has been more than 16 years since a civilian working for the Navy was charged with passing secrets to Israel. Jonathan Pollard pled guilty to conspiracy to commit espionage and is serving a life sentence. At first, Israeli leaders claimed Pollard was part of a rogue operation, but later took responsibility for his work. Now Fox News has learned some U.S. investigators believe that there are Israelis again very much engaged in spying in and on the U.S., who may have known things they didn’t tell us before September 11. Fox News correspondent Carl Cameron has details in the first of a four-part series.” [2]
Carl Cameron reported, “Since September 11, more than 60 Israelis have been arrested or detained, either under the new patriot anti-terrorism law, or for immigration violations. A handful of active Israeli military were among those detained, according to investigators, who say some of the detainees also failed polygraph questions when asked about alleged surveillance activities against and in the United States. There is no indication that the Israelis were involved in the 9-11 attacks, but investigators suspect that they Israelis may have gathered intelligence about the attacks in advance, and not shared it. A highly placed investigator said there are “tie-ins.” But when asked for details, he flatly refused to describe them, saying, “evidence linking these Israelis to 9-11 is classified. I cannot tell you about evidence that has been gathered. Its classified information.”
Numerous classified documents obtained by Fox News indicated that even prior to September 11; as many as 140 other Israelis had been detained or arrested in a secretive and sprawling investigation into suspected espionage by Israelis in the United States. Investigators from numerous government agencies are part of a working group that’s been compiling evidence since the mid ’90s. These documents detail hundreds of incidents in cities and towns across the country that investigators say, “May well be an organized intelligence gathering activity.”
“Why would Israelis spy in and on the U.S.? A general accounting office investigation referred to Israel as country A and said, ‘According to a U.S. intelligence agency, the government of country A conducts the most aggressive espionage operations against the U.S. of any U.S. ally.’
“A defense intelligence report said Israel has a voracious appetite for information and said, ‘the Israelis are motivated by strong survival instincts which dictate every possible facet of their political and economical policies. It aggressively collects military and industrial technology and the U.S. is a high priority target…Israel possesses the resources and technical capability to achieve its collection objectives.’ “[Ibid]
After the dot-com bubble burst in 2000, Israel’s economy was devastated, but then came 9/11, and “suddenly new profit vistas opened up for any company that claimed it could spot terrorists in crowds, seal borders from attack and extract confessions from closed-mouthed prisoners…Many of the country’s most successful entrepreneurs are using Israel’s status as a fortressed state, surrounded by furious enemies, as a kind of twenty-four-hour-a-day showroom–a living example of how to enjoy relative safety amid constant war…Israel now sends $1.2 billion in ‘defense’ products to the United States—up dramatically from $270 million in 1999…That makes Israel the fourth-largest arms dealer in the world…Much of this growth has been in the so-called ‘homeland security’ sector. Before 9/11 homeland security barely existed as an industry. By the end of this year, Israeli exports in the sector will reach $1.2 billion–an increase of 20 percent. The key products and services are …precisely the tools and technologies Israel has used to lock in the occupied territories. Israel has learned to turn endless war into a brand asset, pitching its uprooting, occupation and containment of the Palestinian people as a half-century head start in the ‘global war on terror.’” [3]
On 31 August 2004, Zogby International, the official North American political polling agency for Reuters, released a poll that found nearly half (49.3%) of New York City residents and 41% of those in New York state believed that US leaders had foreknowledge of impending 9/11 attacks and “consciously failed” to act. Of the New York City residents, 66% called for a new probe of unanswered questions by Congress or the New York Attorney General.

1. Why were standard operating procedures for dealing with hijacked airliners not followed that day? 2. Why were the extensive missile batteries and air defenses reportedly deployed around the Pentagon not activated during the attack? 3. Why did the Secret Service allow Bush to complete his elementary school visit, apparently unconcerned about his safety or that of the schoolchildren? 4. Why hasn’t a single person been fired, penalized, or reprimanded for the gross incompetence we witnessed that day? 5. Why haven’t authorities in the U.S. and abroad published the results of multiple investigations into trading that strongly suggested foreknowledge of specific details of the 9/11 attacks, resulting in tens of millions of dollars of traceable gains? 6. Why has Sibel Edmonds, a former FBI translator who claims to have knowledge of advance warnings, been publicly silenced with a gag order requested by Attorney General Ashcroft and granted by a Bush-appointed judge? 7. How could Flight 77, which reportedly hit the Pentagon, have flown back towards Washington D.C. for 40 minutes without being detected by the FAA’s radar or the even superior radar possessed by the US military? 8. How were the FBI and CIA able to release the names and photos of the alleged hijackers within hours, as well as to visit houses, restaurants, and flight schools they were known to frequent? 9. What happened to the over 20 documented warnings given our government by 14 foreign intelligence agencies or heads of state? 10. Why did the Bush administration cover up the fact that the head of the Pakistani intelligence agency was in Washington the week of 9/11 and reportedly had $100,000 wired to Mohamed Atta, considered the ringleader of the hijackers? 11. Why did the 911 Commission fail to address most of the questions posed by the families of the victims, in addition to almost all of the questions posed here? 12. Why was Philip Zelikow chosen to be the Executive Director of the ostensibly independent 911 Commission although he had co-authored a book with Condoleezza Rice? [4]

So the novelists employed at the Mossad and CIA finally decided to kill off their main character. You can hardly blame them. All the secret “bin Laden communiqués” were starting to wear a little thin, and a skilled novelist is ever sensitive to points in the plot where reader interest might be apt to wane. Besides that, it was clear the character was no longer important to the story, so one may as well go ahead and write him out of it. Question is—how do you do so?
We could have him die in a drone attack, but it’s obviously much more dramatic and effective to create a battle scene, in which the “master terrorist,” along with members of his gang, perish in a gunfight with U.S. “elite forces,” and of course we’ll have one of these dastardly al-Qaida fiends grab the nearest woman and use her as a “human shield” in a futile effort to escape this carefully laid trap. Sure—this fits right in with the story. It also serves another purpose: it makes for a nifty distraction, without which nagging questions might be liable to pop into the heads of more alert readers. Questions such as, “If U.S. ‘elite forces’ were on hand, why wasn’t an effort made to take Bin Laden alive and have him stand trial for the crime of the century?”
Of course, we all know why the Bush/Obama administration would wish to avoid a trial. Suppose “bin Laden” took the witness stand and testified about his past connections with the CIA? Or suppose evidence was introduced about the five dancing Israelis or how the buildings could have collapsed in their own footprints. Or what if—and this is the real cruncher—some of the engineers or pilots for 911 truth were subpoenaed to testify? That would have required having the trial judge suppress an awful lot of evidence, which would have been embarrassing, to say the least. To the extent that they aren’t completely staged, trials these days can get messy, and we would have run the risk of having our plot racing off in undesirable directions. So far better for our evil protagonist to die in this enthralling and dramatic firefight. But now we have a new hurdle to get over: identifying the remains. More specifically the problematic venture of “bin Laden’s” numerous relatives possibly coming forward and giving testimony as to whether the body with the hole in its head indeed is—or is not—that of their loved one. Hmm…let’s think about this one for a moment. Well, it seems the novelists have hit on the best solution: burial at sea!
It turns out that a sea burial serves a dual purpose: a) it enables U.S. officials to get the body disposed of within 24 hours, in accordance with Islamic law (after tearing up Korans and throwing them into toilets at Guantanamo, U.S. officials are now finally showing some sensitivity to the concerns of Muslims, and that’s good!!!), and, b) it prevents the burial site from becoming a monument or shrine. Yes, we’d want to avoid that at all costs. But will the readers buy it? Sure. Er…well…probably. But just for good measure, we can have a U.S. official or two announce that our heroic team of “elite forces” also included a crew of forensic specialists whose job was to gather “evidence proving that bin Laden was caught in the raid.”
And there you have it—what fiction writers refer to as the “denouement.” We have reached the point in the story where we come to a revelation, an occurrence or outcome, in which the true nature of the plot is revealed, a point which brings us also, conveniently, to the solution of a complex situation. How might we justify torture? Why, by merely having our erstwhile U.S. officials announce that it was no less than the “enhanced interrogation”—of some of those god-awful, “worst of the worst” prisoners at Guantanamo—that led our beloved “elite forces” to the monster’s lair. And just for good measure, we can have some secret U.S. government files leaked, oh, say, about a week before the villain is slain, documents containing an absolutely stunning revelation—that it was the torture of Guantanamo inmate Khalid Shiekh Mohammed, the notorious “KSM,” through which our gallant intelligence gatherers were able to obtain the name of “bin Landen’s” trusted “personal courier.” Ergo, torture is necessary and the war on terror is justified!
Well, that’s it: a perfect denouement! Now time to wrap up all the loose ends (Obama’s crowded weekend schedule, details about how the gunfight was tweeted live, and then of course a nice human angle is always good, so let’s have a few psychiatrists come out and advise people how to deal with their complicated emotions. And now, finally, we transition into the epilogue. Here we toss in a few paragraphs depicting Americans celebrating, and voila! We’re ready to send our novel off to the publisher!

We got our first reports of bin Laden’s death “yesterday” about a week ago. Reports outlining his trek to Pakistan began dotting the internet and news services. We began to “smell” something “cooking.” 12 hours later, the ensuing media circus has confirmed our worst suspicions. “Photoshopped” material like this altered 2008 “masterpiece” even fooled the semi-professionals at the Associated Press.
Before this story is over, few journalists will have their even limited credibility intact. First over that cliff, of course, was Geraldo Rivera, jumping from 9/11 activist and “truther” to puppet and denialist. Geraldo backtracked on years of even his own investigative “journalism” in less time than it takes to steal a pack of Twinkies from a blind newsie.

Veterans Today, long of the belief the real bin Laden had died a decade ago, was faced with editorial choices. However, before the day was half over, America went from “pseudo-triumph” to low comedy and beyond. No help was needed and no position need be taken.

It was either “sour grapes” or “do the work.” It took only minutes, not hours, for a conspiracy to be created that inexorably shows signs of pre-planning. Now, even when photos and video are released, nobody will believe them. Obama’s talk last night did accomplish one thing. It convinced millions that the hunt for bin Laden has been one of the most criminally absurd endeavors in America’s history. But why the 9/11 rhetoric? Are we supposed to forget all we have learned, all we have sacrificed and the humiliation of a decade of government lies?
Analysis: Were this even 8 years ago, I might be cheering myself. Today, information that is both “reasonable” and commonly available presents an alternative view of both Osama bin Laden and 9/11. It is proven beyond any doubt that Building 7, the third tower, was demolished with an explosive device. This is a given, a known fact. This is proof of a very real conspiracy, real proof that 9/11 never involved hijackers or bin Laden. Last night, statements made by President Obama were filled with wild conjecture, hardly different than the “birthers” he has been bashing. Then again, why would bin Laden have to be killed and his body dumped in the ocean when a cook or taxi driver is held for years and continually tortured. If “bin Laden” or whoever or whatever was “killed’ yesterday was the ultimate “high value target” believed and Al Qaeda the threat we are told every day, then “debriefing” bin Laden would have been the “end all” of intelligence sources. The best Americans can hope for is that President Obama is so dangerously “dense” that the old Cheney led JSOC (Joint Chiefs of Staff) staged this theatrical game to resell the crumbling 9/11 cover-up and stifle investigation of an almost encyclopedic litany of crimes and abuses over the last decade. g Perspective 2: My guess is that his supposed death is a convenient fraud. I had understood that he had died in December 2001, although I certainly have no independent way of confirming that one way or the other. But in the past, when senior leaders of (e.g.) the Iraqi resistance have been killed, the US has put their bodies on public display so there could be no doubt about their identity, and thus their demise. But burial at sea? Why in the world do that, except to make it impossible for anyone to point to the body and say, “not him!” Best bet is that it is a convenient precursor to a US withdrawal (an Obama variant on “Mission Accomplished”), leaving Afghanistan to wither on the vine, as well as a way for Obama to give a boost to his miserable ratings in the public eye here – “Yes We Can!” having been overwhelmingly replaced by “No You Didn’t and You Can’t Either!” Bottom line: If it was Osama bin Laden who was killed, then the body would have been put on public display, and since that wasn’t done, then the body wasn’t his. Not that it will matter in the US….
As to reports made today and the President’s speech, we are highly skeptical. Issues of “timing,” citing the release of Obama’s birth certificate and the crushing of top contender Donald Trump could be seen as sources for doubt but coincidence and circumstance can go either way, any way or no way at all.

The BBC, in an article published shortly after the 9/11 attacks, stated that bin Laden “received security training from the CIA itself, according to Middle Eastern analyst Hazhir Teimourian.”[1]
In a 2003 article, Michael Powelson of the Russian journal Demokratizatsiya wrote:
It is difficult to believe that the United States played no role in the operations of the son of one of the wealthiest men in Saudi Arabia. Indeed, it is much more likely that the United States knew full-well of bin Laden’s operation and gave it all the support they could.[2]
A 2004 BBC article entitled “Al-Qaeda’s origins and links”, the BBC wrote:
During the anti-Soviet jihad Bin Laden and his fighters received American and Saudi funding. Some analysts believe Bin Laden himself had security training from the CIA.[3]
Bin Laden apparently received training from the CIA, which was backing the Afghan holy warriors – the mujahedeen – who were tying down Soviet forces in Afghanistan.
An article in Der Spiegel, in 2007, entitled “Arming the Middle East”, Siegesmund von Ilsemann called Bin Laden “one of the CIA’s best weapons customers.” [5]
According to author Steve Coll,
Overall, the U.S. government looked favorably on the Arab recruitment drives. … Some of the most ardent cold warriors at [CIA headquarters at] Langley thought this program should be formally endorsed and extended. … [T]he CIA “examined ways to increase their participation, perhaps in the form of some sort of international brigade” … Robert Gates [then-head of the CIA's Directorate of Intelligence] recalled. … At the [CIA's] Islamabad station [station chief] Milt Bearden felt that bin Laden himself “actually did some very good things” by putting money into Afghanistan.[6]
Robin Cook, Foreign Secretary in the UK from 1997–2001, and Leader of the House of Commons and Lord President of the Council from 2001-2003, believed the CIA had provided arms to the Arab Mujahideen, including Osama bin Laden, writing, “Bin Laden was, though, a product of a monumental miscalculation by western security agencies. Throughout the 80s he was armed by the CIA and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan.”[7]
Bandar bin Sultan: This is ironic. In the mid-’80s, if you remember, we and the United – Saudi Arabia and the United States were supporting the Mujahideen to liberate Afghanistan from the Soviets. He [Osama bin Laden] came to thank me for my efforts to bring the Americans, our friends, to help us against the atheists, he said the communists. Isn’t it ironic? Larry King: How ironic. In other words, he came to thank you for helping bring America to help him.
According to Iranian state-owned Press TV, FBI translator Sibel Edmonds, who has been fired from the agency for disclosing sensitive information, has claimed the United States was on intimate terms with the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, using them to further certain goals in Central Asia.[10]
According to author David N. Gibbs “a considerable body of circumstantial evidence suggests … direct Agency support for Bin Laden’s activities.”[11] Both Bin Laden and the CIA “held accounts in the Bank for Credit and Commerce International (BCCI).”[11] “Bin Laden worked especially closely with Gulbuddin Hekmatyar“[12] who Gibbs calls “the CIA’s favored Mujahiddin commander”.[11] Gibbs quotes Le Monde as saying bin Laden was “recruited by the CIA” in 1979,[11][13] Associated Press as saying a former bin Laden aide told them that in 1989 the U.S. shipped high-powered sniper rifles to a Mujahiddin faction that included bin Laden,[11][14] and Jane’s Intelligence Review as stating Bin Laden “worked in close association with U.S. agents” in raising money for the Mujahiddin from “vast family connections” near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.[11][15]
In August 2010, Fidel Castro claimed that bin Laden was a spy, employed by the United States.[16]

Report: Bin Laden Already Dead

Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader. “The Coalition troops are engaged in a mad search operation but they would never be able to fulfill their cherished goal of getting Usama alive or dead,” the source said. Bin Laden, according to the source, was suffering from a serious lung complication and succumbed to the disease in mid-December, in the vicinity of the Tora Bora mountains. The source claimed that bin Laden was laid to rest honorably in his last abode and his grave was made as per his Wahabi belief. About 30 close associates of bin Laden in Al Qaeda, including his most trusted and personal bodyguards, his family members and some “Taliban friends,” attended the funeral rites. A volley of bullets was also fired to pay final tribute to the “great leader.” The Taliban source who claims to have seen bin Laden’s face before burial said “he looked pale … but calm, relaxed and confident.” Asked whether bin Laden had any feelings of remorse before death, the source vehemently said “no.” Instead, he said, bin Laden was proud that he succeeded in his mission of igniting awareness amongst Muslims about hegemonistic designs and conspiracies of “pagans” against Islam. Bin Laden, he said, held the view that the sacrifice of a few hundred people in Afghanistan was nothing, as those who laid their lives in creating an atmosphere of resistance will be adequately rewarded by Almighty Allah. French report claims terrorist leader stayed in Dubai hospital
Two months before September 11 Osama bin Laden flew to Dubai for 10 days for treatment at the American hospital, where he was visited by the local CIA agent, according to the French newspaper Le Figaro.The disclosures are known to come from French intelligence which is keen to reveal the ambiguous role of the CIA, and to restrain Washington from extending the war to Iraq and elsewhere. Bin Laden is reported to have arrived in Dubai on July 4 from Quetta in Pakistan with his own personal doctor, nurse and four bodyguards, to be treated in the urology department. While there he was visited by several members of his family and Saudi personalities, and the CIA. The CIA chief was seen in the lift, on his way to see Bin Laden, and later, it is alleged, boasted to friends about his contact. He was recalled to Washington soon afterwards. Intelligence sources say that another CIA agent was also present; and that Bin Laden was also visited by Prince Turki al Faisal, then head of Saudi intelligence, who had long had links with the Taliban, and Bin Laden. Soon afterwards Turki resigned, and more recently he has publicly attacked him in an open letter: “You are a rotten seed, like the son of Noah”. The American hospital in Dubai emphatically denied that Bin Laden was a patient there. Washington last night also denied the story. Private planes owned by rich princes in the Gulf fly frequently between Quetta and the Emirates, often on luxurious “hunting trips” in territories sympathetic to Bin Laden. Other sources confirm that these hunting trips have provided opportunities for Saudi contacts with the Taliban and terrorists, since they first began in 1994. Bin Laden has often been reported to be in poor health. Some accounts claim that he is suffering from Hepatitis C, and can expect to live for only two more years. According to Le Figaro, last year he ordered a mobile dialysis machine to be delivered to his base at Kandahar in Afghanistan. Whether the allegations about the Dubai meeting are confirmed or not, the wider leaks from the French secret service throw a worrying light on the rivalries and lack of coordination between intelligence agencies, both within the US and between western allies. Bin Laden has almost certainly been dead since December 2001, when far more reliable reports of his death were published. That means the guy they killed and threw in the ocean must have either been a ghost, or one of Bin Laden’s many reported doubles. The controlled demolition of the World Trade Center, which pulverized about 3000 people into dust in a few seconds, was the most elaborate and spectacular ritual human sacrifice ever orchestrated. Now, almost ten years later, an almost equivalently unspectacular human sacrifice has been arranged to reinforce the sacred myth of the original sacrifice, which founded a new, homicidal pseudo-religion. The end of a dreary fiction
Unlike most declared and waged wars through history this war on terrorism obscured the perception of ordinary people for it specifically lacked one essential element of the definition of embattling namely, an obvious and tangible enemy.

To our disappointment it was not the joker, the comic book super villain; it was Osama Bin Laden, the frail and gloomy bearded renegade who along with a bunch of so called mujahideen dwelled in the caves of Afghanistan- a country that virtually never existed in the geographical memory of most Americans- formed a group of a handful of professional guerrilla fighters, close to Sylvester Stallone’s “the expendables”, said to be capable of destroying the west and ruling over the world.

Playing backward the war on terrorism video we would probably discover that we are watching some sort of fiction- and not a very good one, I have to say.
Along this awfully long film, not based on a truly honest story, we could stop for moments of discernment as we hit the button and freeze on chosen shots like the following:
- The collapse of world trade center –WTC- buiding7 like a house of cards in 6.5 seconds long after the fall of the twin towers. - Forensics and experts pointing the finger at missile attacks on the Pentagon. - Invasion of Iraq 2003 instead of invading Saudi Arabia- Osama Bin Laden’s native country. - The United States and allies failing to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq but nonetheless managed to massively destroy Iraq for Israel’s sake. - The American troops and allies in Afghanistan with a mission impossible of trying to drive their indigenous tribes – Taliban- out of the country, a silly mission but sold to the Americans as the reasonable tactic of this military crusade. - Weapons and opium sales hit new world records as American troops, military contractors and war lords have become the new holders of the Afghani poppy fields’ franchise. - General Stanley A. McChrystal – US former commander of American and allied troops in Afghanistan- getting high smoking poppy, and in a moment of revealing truth, began to see the scene in Afghanistan as it really is and sarcastically slammed this whole war and ridiculed the whole bunch of politicians in Washington who had geared it in the first place. - American soldiers bored with this pathetic mission of fighting natives -who probably never heard of New York before, let alone Ground Zero – began to kill Afghanis for fun and collect their fingers as trophies. - Wikileaks- or wikidleaks- revealing tons of confidential military documents targeting and accusing Pakistan as not doing enough to help the United States eliminate this super Bin Laden so that the boys could pack up and go home to America. - Recent massive jail break in Kabul with hundreds of Taliban leaders and top operatives on the loose again bringing those years of American military operations back to scratch.
There is a lot more footage like of drones killing civilians in Pakistan and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians killed in Iraq … etc, to be replayed and discerned again on this mythical hunt of Bin Laden but that would take time and skills available only to guys at wikileaks.

It had to come to an end before more people, with their perception not obscured any more, start wondering what all that devastation and chaos got to do with capturing a single man.

There was no way for this world hunt and this war of terror to end without a moment of apparent victory, the huddled masses of viewers of this terribly long movie had to be given a good finale.
They had to be given a catch worthy of their time, taxes and most of all their believing it happened the way it was told.

But to get this done and over with without leaving any trace or a chance for someone to doubt or investigate the war on terrorism story, the white house and CIA officials, like what they did back in 9/11 quickly getting rid of the debris of the collapsed towers that contained valuable forensic evidences and clues as to how those gigantic towers were demolished in seconds the CIA took the body of Osama Bin Laden and in less than 24 hours got rid of it and buried it in the bottom of the sea.
Reminiscent of the mafia way of getting rid of the ones they kill out of fear they would squeal on them, and In a critical and long waited for moment of capturing an extremist Muslim and international terrorist, the United States ironically decided to observe the Muslim traditions of burying the dead as soon as possible and to honor Bin Laden by dumping his body in the bottom of the sea.
And exactly as this fictional movie started with a hasty statement from the white house that it was Osama bin laden who pulled off 9/11, the end came quite similarly hasty as president Obama emerged from the white house and with a victorious grin on his face announced “Tonight, I can report to the people of the United States and the world, the United States had carried an operation that has killed Osama bin Laden, a terrorist responsible for killing thousands of innocent people”

President Obama’s shocking May Day announcement that Osama bin Laden has been killed and his body captured promises to usher in a new era of U.S. foreign and domestic policies alike. But what will this portend in actual practice? The implications for the future are potentially staggering in their full import, and they turn initially on how this seminal event will undoubtedly be used to justify U.S. policies that have defined the recent past.
In his announcement, President Obama demonstrated how different he is in temperament (if not policy making) from his predecessor, George W. Bush. Coming eight years to the day after the infamous “Mission Accomplished” speech — and, coincidentally, falling on the 66th anniversary of the announcement of Hitler’s death — Obama’s rendering contained none of the misplaced bravado (“Bring It On”) or glorification of misery (“We Got Him!”) that defined the previous administration. Instead, the President spoke in measured terms about justice, courage, and American resolve in the face of grave challenges.
Still, despite his deliberate tone, Obama’s words are especially notable for their explicit vindication of the military operations of the past decade. Overtly citing the war in Afghanistan and the practices of the global intelligence apparatus as primary drivers of this potential closure event, the President has put his stamp of approval on the circuitous post-9/11 course of action that brought us here. Taking this further, the post-speech media spin implicitly extends his logic to validate tactics such as drone strikes and undeclared military incursions that have placed the U.S. in ethically murky waters while waging the War on Terror around the world.
Wearing his flag pin, President Obama invoked the legacy of Bush-era initiatives aimed at “winning” the war, and perhaps most poignantly, drew our focus back to the events of 9/11 as the impetus for this decade-long struggle that has now at least partly been brought to fruition. Yet Obama was equally clear that this is not the end of the conflict and that “the cause of securing our country is not complete,” reminding us that we must “remain vigilant at home and abroad” since “there’s no doubt that al Qaeda will continue to pursue attacks against us.”
Make no mistake, this announcement signals a clear intention to vindicate the decisions of the past decade and continue on a similar course going forward. As if to affirm this historical eventuality, the media’s immediate focus on the spontaneous demonstrations of patriotic fervor that have sprung up with echoes of “USA, USA” brings us right back to those fateful September days in 2001. The tenor of these public celebratory gatherings, and the content of the President’s announcement, convey a strong sentiment that the last decade’s wars have been worth it, and likewise that the extraordinary security measures here at home have been equally successful.
On some level, the death of a single individual is essentially being heralded as a justification for the deaths of at least hundreds of thousands (a figure largely comprised of civilians) in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. It remedies all legal and moral defects attendant to the use of “enhanced interrogations” and “extraordinary renditions.” It clears the ledgers on the trillions of dollars spent to undertake these efforts for nearly ten years. It squelches dissent on Patriot Act policies and the Homeland Security apparatus. And, most appreciably, it retroactively validates the Bush Administration’s open-ended waging of global warfare.
The reality of this retrospective confirmation will have serious implications for the near future. Undoubtedly, debates about the wisdom of military operations (wherever we are deploying them) will be tamped down, and attempts to rein in military spending will likewise be muted. Security at home will be amped up for a while in an abundance of caution over potential retaliatory attacks by al Qaeda, and (assuming none are forthcoming) soon after will slip back to the “new normal” we’ve been experiencing — with nary a complaint in the public discourse.
Significantly, President Obama will appear eminently presidential, and even his most ardent critics will deem him praiseworthy. Americans will unite in a renewed spirit, and the stalled economic recovery will receive a shot in the arm from this moment of national buoyancy. Just as the First Gulf War was said to have dispelled the military malaise of Vietnam, this episode will go a long way toward abating the war-weariness of the post-9/11 era. American exceptionalism will be reinvigorated both as a political mandate and a psychological phenomenon, as the world is reminded that the U.S. makes good on its threats and, in the end, keeps its promises.
People will celebrate this moment in many quarters, perhaps as they did to an extent on VE Day and VJ Day (yes, Americans cheered the use of atomic weapons on civilians in Japan and the carpet-bombing of Dresden as tools of “winning” World War II). In this case, we are not likely to be offered such a strong sense of closure; rather, this will be a boost to a flagging effort and a likely enabler of its aggressive continuance. Where will the next front be in this generational war? Who will be the next bogeyman, the “face of evil” that galvanizes American fears and determination alike? With all that is at stake — politically, economically, ideologically — the one thing we can be reasonably assured of is that the present paradigm will continue in full force.
I would very much like to report the opposite. By cutting off the head of al Qaeda, and with due regard to the pro-democracy surge of the Arab Spring, the era of perpetual warfare could be supplanted by a period of unprecedented peace. America might slowly draw down its military operations, and redirect vast resources to education and opportunity for oppressed peoples in the Middle East and here at home alike. President Obama may finally earn his Nobel Peace Prize, and concomitantly help move the country from the near-ruination of a war economy to the stable prosperity of a long-awaited peace dividend. Renewed American pride could obviate the need for ever-expanding security schemes and incursions into liberty, as people are again seen as “good.”
It could still happen this way, but it will take more than the death of one individual — no matter his iconic stature as evil incarnate — to somehow countermand the events and roll back the ethos of recent years. However it breaks in the days ahead, one thing is paradoxically certain: we will continue to find ourselves living in decidedly uncertain times.

What follows is the complete text of my in-depth interview with Anthony Lawson in which we discussed a variety of issues including the concealed realities of 9/11, the Zionist influence over the U.S. administration and the freedom of mass media in the West.
Kourosh Ziabari: in one of your articles, you have written that “the NTSB has confirmed that-apparently for the first time from its inception, in 1967, since when it has investigated more than 124,000 other aviation accidents-it took no part in investigating any of the air crashes which occurred on September 11, 2001.” Do you mean that the National Transportation Safety Board refused to investigate the 9/11 air crashes? Was it ordered by a superior authority to do so? What does the fact that NTSB didn’t investigate the 9/11 air crashes imply? You have mentioned that FBI similarly refused to release any information about any debris recovered from the crash sites under the Freedom of Information Act. Do you want to imply that the U.S. administrative organizations such as FBI and NTSB have been complicit in the 9/11 attacks?
Anthony Lawson: That is correct. The NTSB did not take part in the painstaking procedure of examining what was left of the four aircraft to determine that they were indeed the same aircraft which were allegedly hijacked that morning. Two of the allegedly hijacked aircraft: American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 were claimed, by the Bush administration, to have been the planes which impacted the North Tower and South Tower, respectively, each flown by Arabs who, it later transpired, had never flown a wide-bodied commercial jet before. Aircraft debris, including parts of an undercarriage and fuselage of the North Tower plane were certainly photographed, and the still-smoking core of what must have been the right engine of the South Tower plane can be seen, in several videos, arcing its way down towards Murray and Church streets, were it was videoed and photographed. Later, an identifiable photograph of this same engine core was released, by a former FEMA official photographer, as it was about to be buried in a landfill on Staten Island. This was an important section of a murder weapon, as were the aircraft parts found in or near the North Tower; the debris from the alleged crash site of United Flight 93 and that of American Airlines 77 which allegedly crashed into the Pentagon.
As to the second part of the question, I very much doubt that the NTSB would have been in a position to refuse to investigate the crashes. I should say that were dissuaded from doing so. The FBI, backed up by the Justice Department has refused to release any details about the aircraft parts or the serial numbers of the Black Boxes that may or may not have been found at the crash sites, although the contents of one of them—the Cockpit Voice Recorder from alleged United 93—formed the basis of several documentaries and an Academy-Award-winning movie, yet the transcript of the recording did not carry the serial number of the device on which it was, allegedly, recorded.
I try not to imply things that I have no proof about, because I think that it is up to the reader or viewer to make up their own mind about such things, but I will state, categorically, that the FBI must have been involved in the subsequent cover-up of important information about 9/11, and it is disappointing, but somewhat understandable, considering the power that the perpetrators must possess, that someone from the NTSB has not come forward with the reasons why these plane crashes, out of so many thousands, were not investigated by a government agency with such an outstanding success record.
KZ: In your articles, you have alluded to the fact that the U.S. mainstream media evaded and downplayed the truth about 9/11 and tried to cover up the reality behind it. Meanwhile, they laid the groundwork for the military expedition of the United States and its cronies to two independent, sovereign states. Why do the mainstream media in the United States, which you may admit that are mostly run by well-off Zionists, refused to investigate and analyse the 9/11 attacks objectively and impartially? Does it indicate that the U.S. media, contrary to the accepted wisdom of the public opinion, are not absolutely free to publish whatever they want?
AL: It is no secret that today’s mainstream media and the major Hollywood production companies are owned or controlled by Jews, many of them Zionists, and that many if not most are almost certainly biased towards the well-being of the Jewish state of Israel. Of course there will be loud cries of “foul”, if one relates these factors to the obvious areas which should have been reported or looked into by the mainstream media, but were not. There are so many areas of obvious discrepancy, relating to the ongoing coverage of 9/11, two prime examples being the non-identification of the murder weapons, as explained above, and the fact that the strange collapse of WTC 7 was glossed over by the media and not even mentioned in the Commission’s report. This brought to light the virtual disappearance of what used to be called investigative journalism, while calls from independent researchers and public-opinion polls for a more thorough investigation of the obvious anomalies in the 9/11 Commission’s report have fallen on stony ground, because the mainstream media, quite clearly, will the not address these issues with any seriousness. Once again, I can’t really give you a clear answer to the last part of question two, because I have no evidence that there is outside pressure on the media, but I’m inclined to think that, given AIPAC’s power and who owns the media, very little pressure would be required to prevent reports which may be detrimental to Israel from surfacing in the press or on T.V.
KZ: on several occasions, you criticized the U.S. Congress for its overabundant loyalty and commitment to the Apartheid Regime of Israel. You have stated that “a majority of the curren membership of the United States congress are, in fact, traitors to their own nation, because they have indicated, time and time again, a desire to put the protection of the Apartheid State of Israel ahead of considerations for the safety and security of the realm to which they have been pledged their allegiance: The United States of America.” Is there any certain mechanism within the political structure of the United States which promotes pro-Israel politicians to Congress, Senate and other sensitive governmental positions? In an exclusive interview with me, the American political scientist Prof. Naseer Aruri expressed an interesting statement. He said that no politician with an anti-Zionist mindset could ever dream of living in the White House. Do you agree? Why is it so?
AL: I totally agree with Professor Aruri. I cannot see anyone being voted in as Dog Catcher, if that is an elective position in any of the United States, were they are not prepared to show that they support Israel, 100%. The way that so many members of the House and Senate have signed letters which actually pledge their allegiance to Israel—even in the face of conflicting policies being stated by their own president—is evidence of their treason. Sure, some people will argue about the exact conditions which must apply for such pledges to amount to treason, but the U.S. is still engaged in two wars, if you count the war on terror, and the Libyan conflict could easily escalate into another war, whether declared or not, and Israel will be looking to further its own best interests in the region, which will almost certainly not coincide with America’s best interests—by which I mean the best interests of American citizens, not their administrators—and the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty, in 1967, that killed 34 American servicemen, should be warning enough that Israel is not to be trusted, when it feels threatened by anyone. So what would these pledges of allegiance or solidarity towards Israel mean, if a similar incident took place?
KZ: Putting aside its militaristic and imperialistic face, United States is deemed by many nations of the world as a superpower which can benefit them in terms of economy and diplomacy. The United States maintains strong relations with so many countries in the world. Canada, China, Mexico, Japan and Germany are the top 5 trade partners of the United States. However, among the countries with which the U.S. maintains strong diplomatic, economic and cultural relations, Israel occupies a special berth. The United States has regularly vetoed any UNSC resolution critical of Israel, justified Israel’s war crimes and crimes against humanity, helped Israel extend its umbrella of occupation over the Palestinian nation and prevented the international community from investigating Israel’s illegal nuclear program. What has created such a strong and unbreakable linkage between Tel Aviv and Washington? What causes the United States to present itself as the unconditional supporter and patron of the Israeli regime?
Anthony: As I have indicated in my video, Friends of Israel — Enemies Inside the Gates, there seem to be two basic reasons for the strong and unbreakable linkage between Tel Aviv and Washington: arcane beliefs and money. If a person is a Zionist, and believes that Israel really was promised to the Jews, in perpetuity, by their God, several thousand years ago, whether they are Jews or Zionists Christians, that would be reason enough to support Israel, come Hell or high water. But, I suspect the stronger reason is more likely to be money and power, which are pretty much the same thing or, at least, interchangeable. Referring back to Professor Aruri’s statement, I would broaden it to: “No politician with an anti-Zionist mindset could ever dream of living in the White House or of sitting in the House of Representatives or the Senate for any significant length of time.” The reason being that they could never buck the big bucks that AIPAC would put up to defeat them at the next election. And the magic of it all is that it doesn’t cost Israel a shekel, because the U.S. pays Israel $3.1 billion plus in aid, every year, so it can afford to back candidates from both parties. As long as they pledge to keep that “aid” money rolling towards Tel Aviv, it can be rolled right back into their own campaign funds at election time. This is a mind-boggling feed-back system that would have had the Founding Fathers foaming at their mouths, had they considered that such a thing might be a possibility. Democracy didn’t even exist in Ancient Greece, which was a slave state, and it certainly doesn’t exist in the United States, although so many U.S. presidents claim that it is an exportable commodity, if only at the point of an M16 carbine I guess the short answer is: Tel Aviv controls the U.S., not Washington.
KZ: The critics of Israeli regime are always conveniently vilified as anti-Semitist and those who question the veracity of Holocaust accounts are offhandedly called neo-Nazis. Whoever dares criticize Israel for its crimes against humanity and brutal repression of the Palestinian nation is disrespectfully dismissed by the mainstream media. What has given the Israeli regime and the Zionist lobby around the world such an immense and enormous power to suffocate all of the critics and opponents by introducing them as the enemies of Judaism?
AL: Money and dedication to a cause is what enables the perpetuation of these absurd and unwarranted insults. If something is repeated often enough, in the media, it is believed by those who lack the power to think for themselves. And it is the Zionist-owned media that can afford to repeat them, over and over. With regard to people who are unable to think for themselves, unfortunately, I think early religious teachings must take some of the blame for the underdevelopment of young minds, in the area of free thinking, because being encouraged to blindly believe in something that cannot be seen, heard or touched must affect the ability or willingness of a young person to question other things about their lives and relationships with others. Which means that their minds are wide open to other suggestions which may appear quite reasonable, but which are not, if they only gave them some thought. Whatever the cause of this lack of awareness in so many people, most people who are able to think for themselves must realise that the accusation of anti-Semitism has long passed its sell-by date, if it ever had a legitimate one. In fact it is a total misnomer, it doesn’t mean anti-Jewish, because the word Semitic refers to a group of languages, not a belief system. I counter this with my own word combination: Anti-NastyPeopleism. This is quite an okay emotion to have, and if one of those nasty people happens to be a Jew or a Zionist, that is not my problem it is theirs.
KZ: Two of your impressive video files namely “Holocaust, Hate Speech & Were the Germans so Stupid?” and No-Fly Zone over Gaza were flagrantly removed by the YouTube in clear violation of the freedom of speech and democracy. By disabling the truth-seeking internet users to watch your insightful videos, YouTube demonstrated that it can be hardly trusted as a reliable and truthful source of information. Please explain for me and my readers about the contents of your video files and let us know about your idea regarding their removal from YouTube. Do you agree with the belief that the Western world is not that beacon of freedom and cradle of liberty which its statesmen claim?
AL: An operation like YouTube is wide open to abuse from people who have no regard for freedom of speech and expression. Ever since the first video you mention was taken down, because of a false copyright-infringement claim, which was not looked into by the YouTube “Team”—even when I pointed out that the claimant had given an incorrect telephone number and the material it was claimed I was infringing is not even available on the Internet—I’ve given up trying to fight them, because that is what such people want me to do: waste my energy fighting a corporation which doesn’t care a damn about anyone or anything, except making money. It is a world sickness: never mind the quality of our operation, feel the money it makes. These days, I never use the word “believe” in relation to my thoughts, because it has the wrong connotation. People believe things that, quite obviously, may not have any basis in fact, so I prefer the word “think”. So the answer is that I don’t think that the Western world is a beacon of freedom or cradle of liberty. Most of its elements are as corrupt and as rotten to the core as any of the regimes which have already fallen or which are teetering, in the Arab world, right now. Here’s a question for you, rhetorical I guess: Have you ever seen anything as gross as the royal wedding and the coverage given to it by the media? How much did all that cost to prop up the idea that monarchy still has something to offer in this day and age? The world didn’t stop when Israel invaded Gaza, but it stopped, as far as the BBC and CNN were concerned, when a couple of young people of no particular noteworthiness got married I cannot look at any of those pictures or listen to the inane commentaries without thinking of the massive degradation of decency that went into the planning of that appalling display of wealth, or the mental illness that makes certain people think that the frock worn by so-and-so has any meaning at all, in the wider picture of human decency and compassion for the suffering of others. It was a disgrace.
KZ: According to the Article 19 of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights which was highlighted in your video, everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression and there should be no exception to this rule. However, those who benefit from aggrandizing the story of Holocaust and exaggerating its extent are at odds with this inalienable freedom. Why has the Holocaust become a forbidden zone which nobody can enter? What’s your personal viewpoint regarding the accounts which have been given about Holocaust? Did the Nazi Germany under the leadership of Adolf Hitler exterminate 6 million Jews is gassing chambers?
AL: It would be hard to answer in a single paragraph what I took a 30 minute video to examine. During WW II, atrocities of monumental proportions were committed by both sides. The thousand-bomber raids launched on the civilian population of Germany and the droppings of two atomic bombs on civilians in Japan are prime examples. There is no doubt in my mind that English and American politicians and military staff sat and cold-bloodedly planned those atrocities. They would have been classed as war criminals had Germany won the war. On the other hand, it seems that there is no solid evidence that Germany put in train a plan to systematically murder Jews using gas chambers. I have no doubt that some Germans were as cruel as some of those bombing-raid planners, and that a lot of unnecessary deaths resulted from that cruel streak, which seems to show itself in so many humans, but I do not think that the facts support the planned systematic-extermination scenario that the ever-growing number of Holocaust museums claim was perpetrated by the Germans. And I would add that the more I hear and see of the attempts to gag open discussion on this uniquely banned historical subject, the more I am convinced that some things are being covered up and others invented in order to perpetuate some of the Holocaust stories that would not stand up to a thorough and impartial examination.
KZ: Let’s take a glance at the developments taking place in the Middle East region. Almost all of the nations in the Persian Gulf region which are experiencing revolutions or semi-revolutions, from Egypt and Tunisia to Libya, Bahrain, Yemen and Saudi Arabia, have been the staunch allies of Washington. One feature is common between all of these countries and that is their repressiveness and black human rights record. Why does the United States support and uphold brutal regimes such as Bahrain, Libya and Yemen who relentlessly massacre their own people and refuse to be held accountable before the international community?
AL: I don’t claim to have anything more than a distant bystander’s knowledge of these issues, so all I can do is put two and two together from observing the diplomatic Merry-Go-Round between the various countries you mention, over the last few years. Clearly, the United States has no interest in these countries becoming democracies, or in the wellbeing of their citizens; the arming of Saudi Arabia demonstrating its blatant show of support for one of the most elitist regimes in the world. Bearing in mind the control exercised by Zionists in the U.S., I think it is almost a certainty that each potential flash-point is looked at, not from America’s point-of-view, but from Israel’s. The change of regime in Egypt, which has a common border and a long-standing peace pact with Israel, is going to be one of the most telling areas to watch, in view of the Egyptian people’s stated concerns about Gaza and the Palestinians. These recent uprisings and demonstrations of discontent must have sent tsunami-sized shock waves through whatever diplomatic damage-control systems the Washington-Tel Aviv axis had in place, so it would be a brave or foolhardy observer who would try to guess what is likely to happen, except to say that whatever does happen it is unlikely to be very pretty to watch on our TV screens or read about on the Internet.
KZ: United States and its European allies have long accused Iran of pursuing a military nuclear program. They have lethally pressured Iran to give up its nuclear program and imposed hard-hitting sanctions against the country which have paralyzed the daily life of people here. At the same time and while almost everybody knows that Israel possesses up to 200 nuclear warheads, nobody dares question Israel on its nuclear program. How should one come to terms with this exercise of double standards?
